Curinus coeruleus larva? - Curinus coeruleus

Curinus coeruleus larva? - Curinus coeruleus
Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
December 28, 2012
Is this the larva of the metallic blue lady beetle (Curinus coeruleus)? There were several C. coeruleus adults nearby and the patterning matches what I have seen elsewhere online (e.g., http://www.nbaii.res.in/Featured%20insects/Curinus_coeruleus.htm)

Moved from Lady Beetles.

yes, Curinus coeruleus
Nice find! This is the first larval photo of the species on BugGuide.

Thank you!
I'm happy to be able to help expand the guide since it has been so useful to me.
