On second thought... let's just put these here. I'm fairly certain I'm right--and these exuviae are much more solid-looking (and thus deceptive) than the others in the Guide.

Hahaha - I was looking at exuviae! It's hilarious they're still "standing", zombie-like! Thanks so much for the tip!

Maybe it's just the angle, but these really don't look like aphids to me.

Also, if they are aphids, it might be helpful to know what the host plant was. Any idea?

 
Well, maybe they're not aphids.
The plant is common milkweed. I was shooting some milkweed bugs, these were accidentally included. Just added a pic with the milkweed bugs for size comparison.
