Caterpillar - Hyppa

Caterpillar - Hyppa
Sitka County, Alaska, USA
September 15, 2013
Found while on hike - it was crawling on someone, probably had come off while walking through brush. Hoping to get an idea of what it might want to eat, since so far it hasn't eaten what we collected for it (will dry some other plants that were in the area).

Moved
Moved from Butterflies and Moths. Laci notes "Looks like for Hyppa the choices are brunneicrista and potamus but doesn't look like there are cat pics for either. It does look more like Hyppa than Elaphria to me."

Our initial reaction is that we are looking at a Midget
genus Elaphria, but that is just a quick gut response
Hyppa looks like this also.
