Phantom Darner? - Triacanthagyna trifida

Phantom Darner? - Triacanthagyna trifida
Venice, Sarasota County, Florida, USA
October 22, 2006
Size: 2.5 inches
This dragon has been a hard one for me to get. The only reason I have it now is it just dropped dead in front of my husband while he was sitting on the porch. There are no images in the guide to compare it to.

Nice find
This is a female Phantom Darner. In the other picture you can see the narrowed abdomen at S3, and in this one you can see the projections jutting down from S10. I am jealous.

Thank you so much
I'm always so jealous when others get great pics. Thanks for the ID confirmation. Just sorry the poor thing had to die for me to get it's pic.
