Rhinocyllus or Larinus? - Larinus

Rhinocyllus or Larinus? - Larinus
Kalamazoo County, Michigan, USA
June 29, 2013
Size: 5.8mm
Is this Rhinocyllus concinus or Larinus minutus? Or something else altogether? To me, both the rostrum and the vestiture seem too short for Rhinocyllus, but I yield to the experts. Maybe I'm not even in the ballpark. No host data; collected in a bark beetle trap.

Moved from ID Request.

Larinus; nobody seems to know how to tell the small ones apart
NB: in the future, always try to start the series of beetle photos with a dorsal habitus; only on rare occasions you get really lucky and get a reasonably specific ID based on profile shot alone, like here
