Siricidae
Sirex sp. Three species in the East look similar to this - Sirex cyaneus, S. nitidus, and S. noctilio. I would have to see the ovipositor and possibly sculpture of the mesopleuron to distinguish them.

I wonder if this may be S. noctilio, an invasive woodwasp.
