Not sure. Thought it might be flea beetle, based on the huge hind femora but now I'm not sure.

Can't remember the genus, but Scirtes (and maybe another one) have enlarged hind femora and hop quite nicely.

Scirtes orbiculatus
Has oblong reddish spot on elytra with sides of pronotum yellowish. The other species in the area has the elytra all black.
