Chocolate Banded Dragonfly - Plathemis lydia - Female
Givens State Park along the Edisto river, Dorchester County, South Carolina, USA

Size: 3.0 inches
Found along the bank of the Edisto River, SC, this dragon fly has dark brown banded wings, brown eyes, and a thick brown tail with small white and yellow marks.
