Size: ~12 mm
Alan Wells and I do a weekly survey at Lily Pond, and we kicked this up, so to speak.
Should be easy to take to species, yes? I mean, how many black ground beetles could there possibly be?!

looks like a member of the stygicus group; wait for the experts
