little white bugs - Stenocaecilius casarum

little white bugs - Stenocaecilius casarum
Clermont, Lake County, Florida, USA
September 21, 2013
Size: 1-3 cm
Found during the day hiding in my sun setter awning. There are about 200 of them and they just keep running in circles.

Moved from ID Request.

That distinctive mark on the head...
makes it Stenocaecilius casarum . Mockford "medium brown longitudinal stripe through midline of head from anteclypeus through vertex".

yeah, a much better match
thanks for setting me straight, Diane

best guess, Valenzuela of some sort
impossible to be sure, the pic's too fuzzy
the indicated size looks 5-10x overestimated... should more like 3 mm
