Moved from Rugilus. Definitely not Rugilus - that has a really skinny neck. This could be Medon, or Sunius confluentus; the latter is common under bark of logs in eastern and central North America.

to the collection for this and some other photos, and the genus shouldn't be too hard. Simply too busy this semester.

Oxytelinae
Look like an Oxytelinae of the tribus Thinobiini but I don't know the genus.

Paederinae, near Sunius, but I would want to make sure before I became too positive.

Yes, I think you're right. I've said Oxytelinae cause I thinked that I can count seven sternits, but it's an error caused by the particular position of the abdomen on this specimen.
