I [seemingly] live in Sachem heaven in southern Illinois. I'm discovering more species of skippers as time goes on, but the vast majority are Sachem!

Same here.
Lots of Sachems but I do occasionally get to see a new skipper. Keep looking, they are there.

I think this is a Dun Skipper (
Euphyes vestris
)
This is also a Dion Skipper (
Euphyes dion
)
And this is a Zabulon Skipper (
Poanes zabulon
)
So I know they're out there. It's just sifting through all the Sachems (and Fiery Skippers), so thanks for your encouragement, Cliff!
