Unknown Wasp - Stenodynerus

Unknown Wasp - Stenodynerus
Lower Lake, Lake County, California, USA
September 16, 2013
Size: Approx. 8mm
Really interesting wasp. I'm guessing it's a wasp. Interesting eye shape, antennae tips fold back onto themselves and tuck into a small pit in one of the segments. Two spines at the end of the abdomen.

Vespidae?
That's my guess. The shape and markings on the abdomen look to me like it's a Eumenes species of some sort.
