The only photo I got, and certainly frass, but this is a new bug for me. Found on a shrub along a wooded path in the afternoon. It was preening it's long, flexible, pectinate antennae. Thanks for any help!

I retract the "pectinate" ant
I retract the "pectinate" antennae observation! That was a quick naked eye judgment from about 4 ft, before backing up to 15 ft to focus my 400 mm lens--bad technique!

Perhaps the effect was caused by rapid movement or vibrating of the antennae.

Thanks for pointing me in this direction, Brandon. Studying more photos in this family, I think a better match would be Gnamptopelta obsidianator. Note the darker tips on the antennae, and the lighter coloration on the forelegs. Looks like a match for:

Though mine is not a good photo, it would be a data point for PA in September.
