False Bombardier Beetle - Galerita janus

False Bombardier Beetle - Galerita janus
Lewis & Clark Boy Scout Camp, Yankton County, South Dakota, USA
June 14, 2005
Size: 20.5mm
Can anyone help me determine if this is Galerita bicolor or G. janus? I'm leaning toward G. janus, due to the uniformly decumbent hair on the elytra, which points to G. janus in The Ground-Beetles of Canada and Alaska, c. 1969.

Galerita janus
This is Galerita janus. The shape of the hind angles of the head is easier to judge than the hair on the elytra.
