Horrid Zale 5th instar larva - Zale horrida
Town of Plymouth, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, USA
July 8, 1998
A female came to our night light on June 12, 1998 and laid two eggs. Did not get a photo of her. Two eggs hatched June 17, 1998, fed Nannyberry (Viburnum lentago). This larva is 21 days old. It formed a pupa July 10, 1998. Overwintered in fruit cellar. Eclosed May 2, 1999.
