Taking a break from chasing dragonflies at the 2004 Southeast Regional DSA Meeting held at Eglin Airforce Base.

Hi Jeanell,
Good thing you're displaying your ring finger in this photo. My word!

Say, is that a BioQuip collapsible net?

Bioquip it is,
but not the "collapsible" net. The handle can be dismantled into two 30-inch sections so it doesn't have to stick out the van window. (Five foot handle, 18 inch hoop, and I still can't catch a Comet Darner. Darn.)

Makes sense that yours isn't collapsible.
I got the luggage-friendly net that twists down to one-third its open diameter. You can literally carry the net in your pocket. I'm not too pleased with the fabric though. The mesh is a little too coarse and flimsy for my work. The really tiny beetles could exit right through the mesh. I'll probably replace it with sheer curtain fabric before my next collecting trip: Ecuador next summer.
