Backyard Spider - Neoscona domiciliorum

Backyard Spider - Neoscona domiciliorum
Lumberton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
October 4, 2013
Size: About 5/8 inch
This is a rather poor dorsal image of the same spider I submitted yesterday. I am not sure if it is a Neoscona crucifera, as the images of that species I saw online are hairier than this individual. When I approached it to take the photo, it scampered up its web and hid under a leaf, where I took the image.
