That looks pretty good to me -- thanks! I found a couple of other online resources (see info page). The markings are quite "muddy" -- but that's how it is. The
CA Moth database
shows specimens from Humboldt & Siskiyou counties, which are further north (and Humboldt is east) -- but the BOLD map shows a wider distribution outside CA, so it's likely anyway that the moth occurs at Sagehen in Nevada county.
