Size: approx. 2.5 inches
Tan/brown grasshopper with markings on it's legs... maybe a type of bird grasshopper, but which type? I appreciate the help!

Not a species of bird grasshopper, but one within the genus Melanoplus, more specifically, the Melanoplus differentialis, the differential grasshopper.
