Hydrophilidae - Berosus

Hydrophilidae - Berosus
Middle Fork Savanna Forest Preserve, Lake County, Illinois, USA
July 27, 2012
Size: 4mm
John is sorting a sample from a black light trap which has a lot of hydrophilids in it. We think this one is in the genus Berosus. This smaller one doesn't have the black triangle but has two points on the front of the elytra. We can take pictures from different perspective, if you need it. And we'll be posting more species.
