Forewing length 12–16 mm. (1)

Identification

The light grey or white cubital vein will distinguish most specimens of Euxoa olivalis from E. plagigera. Dissection may be required on some specimens for positive identification.

Southern California, Arizona, and northern New Mexico to British Columbia and Saskatchewan. (2), (3)

June to August.
