Patrick Coin and Termite Mound - Male

Size: 183 cm
Photo of me in June, 1999, at a termite mound in Australia's Northern Territory, east of Darwin. These mounds were just spectacular.

The human is 183 cm. The termite mound is about 5 meters tall!

...but I never did leave a comment.

Hi, Patrick! Just wanted to say that this had to be an incredibly awesome thing to see in person. IMO, way better than getting your picture taken next to some supposedly famous building or statue. Would love to have the experience of visiting Australia myself someday...

We had a great time posing in front of these things--there were many along the road, though not always close.
Australia was really something--I'd love to go back with my better knowledge of photography now--that was just slightly before digital was practical for amateurs.
