Cycloneda munda? - Cycloneda munda - male

Cycloneda munda? - Cycloneda munda - Male
Reston, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
October 15, 2013
observed on lima bean leaf. Tentative ID based on comparison to other BG images, confirmation/correction appreciated.

Moved from ID Request.

Yes, C. munda - male
The pronotum is distinctive in this genus, and C. munda is the only species of Cycloneda in your area.

The completely white front of the head indicates that this is a male. Females have a dark area at the center of the "face."

thank you
very much for the confirmation
