Gumbo Limbo Research Center, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
October 15, 2013
Found decimating the leaves on what looked like a cherry tree.

Yurica saves the day... what else is new?
Moved from ID Request.

Leaf Beetle larvae?
Similar to these? (Unfortunately unIDed...)

And I found this...
Geiger Tortoise Beetle larvae. Maybe yours on Geiger tree?

It is a
Geiger tree. Checked with the staff at Gumbo Limbo who verified it.

Thanks again for your help!

Good Job!
I will check on the tree. I'm assuming that the Geiger is the main host for these critters?

Thanks Again!
