Unknown large winged insect - Chauliodes pectinicornis
Antigonish, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia, Canada
July 2, 2009
Size: Length of third finger +
Northeast coast of Nova Scotia, marshes, fields, mixed woods. Haven't a clue what these are, but they come to porch lights and bat right through other insects. Quite dramatic in flight.
