... how it looks like a Membracid! The long, tubular, tip of the abdomen, the host (oak instead of a herbaceous plant, the usual food of
A. quadripunctata
) and the behavior (there was a small colony of a dozen of these nymphs tended by ants). Thanks Andy!

Andy Hamilton based his identification on the « characteristic earlike lobes on the head ». At that time, I didn't find any Membracidae with these head lobes. I searched again today and I found
this picture
. Now, it fits my 2013 observation! There was a colony of these nymphs on oak, one of the hosts of
Microcentrus
sp. Thanks!
