Orange and Black Bug - Cycloneda sanguinea

Cycloneda sanguinea
The Spotless Lady Beetle. It's just about ready to pupate, you can see how stretched-out the skin looks, with whitish areas along the "seams" of the body. (That threw me initially, because I thought it might be markings on the skin, but the actual orange markings are indeed correct for C. sanguinea.)

My quick gestalt-based IDs for genus Cycloneda are based on the very long forelegs and small head. C. sanguinea is notable in the genus for its strongly-tapered body shape from the midpoint to the tip of the abdomen.

That's a very detailed analysis. Thanks you.
