Sorry about the quality of pics. Not entirely sure these aren't Forelius. I can't make out the propodeal structure, though overall these ants strike me as pretty lanky.

Can you re-find these?
I think these are Dorymyrmex bureni and am pleasantly surprised to see them from that far north (previously known only as far as Delmarva Pen.).
It would be good to see some clearer pictures of the profile and a face shot, as usual for ants.

 
Cool
I was looking for Habronattus agilis, and took these as an afterthought. Sorry for the poor pics. It was getting dark, and the intense mosquitoes were pretty distracting. We regularly visit New Jersey, and I can recheck this site next year. It was in the sand spoils across the road from the WWII fire tower at Cape May Point.

It's a bit late, but I finally collected some vouchers for these. They are abundant at that site.
