I just looked at the dorsal shot it matches female Fiery just fine. See the last photo on my Fiery Page at

No question it is a Fiery Skipper likely a female. The only other choice in GA would be Carolina Roadside-Skipper which would be done for the year long ago and about 2/3s the size of a Fiery Skipper.

Humm
Butterflies and Moths of North America list 19 different skippers for that county. I'm no expert, but the Fiery Skippers in my area (Southern California) are a lot lighter than this.
