Big Head Beetle - Epicauta rileyi

Big Head Beetle - Epicauta rileyi
Baboquivari Mts., Pima County, Arizona, USA
September 29, 2006
Size: ~12-16mm
this one has me puzzled. Looks like head is slightly wider than pronotum, and pronotum doesn't have the upturned "shelves" of many Cantharidae.

Epicauta rileyi Horn

Another one from Texas?
Dennis (and others), is this also Epicauta ochrea?

Thanks
Jim and Eric. Was a handsome beetle. The group still remains difficult for me, but then, I guess with so many of them, one can't expect to be proficient that quickly.

Possibly same species
as ones I found in New Mexico. I have a bunch of meloids from NM I haven't posted yet.

Blister beetle.
Blister beetle, probably genus Epicauta.
