I have no clue - Anticarsia gemmatalis
Blanco, Blanco County, Texas, USA

I was only able to snap one photo, barely in focus. I thought a moth at first. But after seeing the photo, I'm not so sure. Help?

Anticarsia gemmatalis
Moved from ID Request.

Nice one. Highly variable and fairly common in the late season here in south TX.
Thanks!
