Unknown Beetle - Callosobruchus maculatus
Santa Clara County, California, USA
Anyone know what this beetle is?

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

You need to understand that
the info about the location is a very important part of the identification process.

please edit and fill in location & sighting date first
it's a prerequisite; thanks_

Location
It's not a required field and I don't know where the picture originated.

Location
95008. Santa Clara county. Ca

it is required to proceed with identification
if not your picture, please indicate the author in the copyright field and ask him/her about the provenance.
identifying specimens without label data is considered bad practice

Please find someone else to bother
If you don't know the species of this beetle, please go police someone else. I'm interested in helping people identify what's in their home and not debating which fields are required in a post. The fields in the ID request form are not marked as required, except for the "title" field. Have a nice weekend!

Your rude comments are ncalled for...
V belov is the one person who is probably able to give you the right ID. Location is extremely important identification of a species, I've known this with cicadas and this is certainly of even greater importance for beetles since they are so common and many species are very similar, only to be separated by distance. We will help you, but only when your attitude is worth trying. Just for the record.

Chrysomelidae
Chrysomelidae

Leaf Beetle
Any idea which species?
