ID for a bee fly? - Geron
Claremont, Los Angeles County, California, USA

This bee fly was on Scale-Broom (Lepidospartum squamatum) at the Claremont Colleges' Bernard Field Station. I was wondering if it might be something along the lines of Geron? Any information about its identity will be greatly appreciated!
