Mecomycter - Mecomycter omalinus
near Canyonlands, San Juan County, Utah, USA

Size: 3.0 mm
Just noticed this genus didn't have any representation yet. These have the elongate pronotum L>W, the rostrate head, dual pubescence and simple claw, so I think I keyed it correctly. Maybe this is M. omalinus Horn based on the Am Beetles distribution. Don't have a description.
