maybe Dichordophora phoenix? - Dichordophora phoenix
Cienega Creek near Davidson Canyon, SE of Tucson, 3330 feet elevation, Pima County, Arizona, USA
October 26, 2013
Size: wingspn 25mm; length 11mm
I tried to work through Bruce Walsh's guide to Nemoria of SE Arizona, but I don't think I know enough. Seems rather late and low elevation for N. arizonaria, acc. to the BugGuide info page. But now I am thinking it could be Dichordophora phoenix -- image looks better than Nemoria.

Nemoria ID request -- should have put this in Geometrinae
I just read a forum discussion on placing partly identified images in higher order taxon categories rather than in ID Request. I didn't realize I could do this -- would have probably put it in Subfamily Geometrinae.

maybe Dichordophora phoenix instead of Nemoria?
Has red-brown edge to forewing. There are Arizona records as late as November, which would fit this specimen.
