Care and feeding of assassin bug?

This creature
http://www.warrensarle.com/misc/rect_001-New-Out999-D(25)-I(5)-LPF(250,0).jpg

had been on a post in the stairwell outside my apartment for over 24 hours without moving. I brought it inside to photograph and thought at first that it was almost dead, but after a couple hours it started moving a bit, so perhaps it was just cold (temperatures have been running 28-50F the last couple days). Is there anything I can do to help it revive?

Wheel Bug
That is a beautiful picture! You might try getting crickets from a pet shop to feed it, but it may have reached the end of its life cycle so will die anyway. It won't hurt to try though.

Thanks for the reply.

The bug hasn't moved overnight, but it's not stiff yet. I can gently move its legs but it doesn't respond.

There are plenty of crickets around that I can catch, but I think if I put a live cricket in front of it, the cricket would just jump away. Would an assassin bug eat a dead cricket?

When I brought it in, the ends of its wings (just barely visible in the photo) were black. Now the wings are the same gray as most of the body.
