Bristletail with great eyes

Bristletail with great eyes
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
November 1, 2013
Size: Body 12mm
Surprised that such a homely (sorry Bristletail) looking bug had such interesting eyes. I think this is a Jumping Bristetail, but I wouldn't bet on it This little guy was too cold to jump (temp low 60's) so he just kind of sauntered off as I photo'd him. Any help in further ID would be appreciated. Thanks (don't know if it's male or female)

Thank you for your quick response; I hope someone will be able to ID him/her and also possibly tell me how tell if it's a "him" or a "her".

Meinertellidae
This looks like Meinertellidae because the antennae apparently lack scales. Hypomachiloides is a reasonable guess for the genus based on the shape of the lateral ocelli and the locality.
