Wheel Bug
Thank's for the added info on this stranger-than-fiction creature!

Definitely.
Many of the guys on here are scary fast at identifying different species. Wheel bugs are commonly put in the ID Request page. They are assassin bugs that feed on other insects and arachnids. Though they can give a painful bite if handled incorrectly, they are extremely beneficial in lowering pest populations.
