Vesta Crescent - Phyciodes graphica - female

Vesta Crescent - Phyciodes graphica - Female
Williamson County, Texas, USA
November 6, 2006
Size: ~2.5 cm
This is the less active of the pair of Vestas that Dr. Grishin identified as male and female; the wings aren't ragged and the color is slightly brighter, so I'm guessing this individual hasn't been around as long.
