Clearwing moth with scaled wings II? - Zenodoxus canescens
Española, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, USA
November 10, 2013
Size: small
Thought I'd upload one more, a few feet away from where I took yesterday's picture, but looks like a different individual to me. This one was definitely posing. Zenodoxus canescens?

Yesterday afternoon there were lots while it was sunny. Today I couldn't find any while it was cloudy, and just one or two during the brief time that the sun shone (partially blocked by clouds). A strange moth!
