Millipede - Lithobius forficatus

Millipede - Lithobius forficatus
Schwenksville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
November 11, 2013
Size: ~2.5 - 3 cm
I grew up calling these and several other species 'Millipedes', they are judged only by being different from centipedes for being venomous. This particular critter type used to and still gives me the heebie jeebies. this one and way too many others were under a sun warmed sheet of particle board behind the shed. I had lifted it up hunting spiders which I also found a good many of.
