prehistoric looking bug - Arilus cristatus

prehistoric looking bug - Arilus cristatus
Highland Haven, Burnet County, Texas, USA
November 11, 2013
This ridge on the back of this bug reminded me of a Stegasaurus....quite amazing...as was its long neck equipped with a pair of very long red antennae. Many thanks for your time and expertise...Denise K. ( Sorry the pics aren't better, but the light was bad. )
