Megalodacne heros? - Megalodacne fasciata

Megalodacne heros? - Megalodacne fasciata
Lenexa, Johnson County, Kansas, USA
July 31, 2008
Came to MVL in a woodland/remnant tall grass prairie area.

Ive snooped around some more...I think this is fasciata (wide margins on the pronotum and punctate elytral striae).

Moved from Megalodacne.

The genus is sound. The best way to tell the species is the width of the margin along the pronotum, but I've never been very good at interpreting this character...

Moved from Pleasing Fungus Beetles.
