Ailanthus Webworm Moth - Atteva aurea

Ailanthus Webworm Moth - Atteva aurea
Near Asherton, TX, Dimmit County, Texas, USA
November 11, 2006
Size: 1 inch +/-

That would be a nice beetle to find ;-)
That long, nectar-drinking tongue might have discouraged me from calling it a beetle but I've thought things from an entirely different taxonomic class were beetles, so who knows :-)

Moth
Atteva punctella.
Very nice image.

Thanks
