small spider in retreat with egg case - Parasteatoda tabulata - female

small spider in retreat with egg case - Parasteatoda tabulata - Female
Brossard, Quebec, Canada
November 17, 2013
Size: 3 or 4 mm
Spider- looks like Parasteatoda but according to the Bugguide web site the presence of a debris encased retreat enclosing the spider with an egg sac is characteristic of Parasteatoda tabulata rather than tepidariorum? Is this reasonable? Any help would be most appreciated.

Moved from ID Request. Yes, I think you are correct with Parasteatoda tabulata. Range and behavior is correct for that species. Let's leave it here for a few days to give others a chance to comment if they'd like.

P. tabulata
I think P. tabulata is right too. Very nice!
