Dennis Paulson found the first two records of this species in the US, in June and November 2005. My sight-only September 2008 record was the third, then the fourth showed up about 2 weeks later. Three days after that, this one was the fifth. Martin Reid spotted it during the park's weekly dragonfly walk. It was netted and sent to John Abbott for the state odonate collection.
