Explanation of Names
Samuel Cassino named the species in honor of Mr. Louis Prout.
Cassino (1928) listed the wingspan 25-28 mm.
Western Texas to Arizona.
Holotype from Alpine, Texas (September).
The main flight period appears to be May to October.
