Brazos Bend St. Park, Fort Bend County, Texas, USA
November 21, 2013
If confirmed, may be the first TX image. Found at light. Are the hosts also cucurbits for this species? Sorry for the slightly out of focus image here.

Moved from ID Request.

Known from Texas, but first photo from the state for the guide.
Thanks!

The HOSTS database (1) lists only Melothria pendula (Curcurbitaceae) - creeping cucumber. It's probably reasonable to assume it may also feed on similar plants in that family; I'd guess the lack of host records has more to do with the moth's limited distribution than anything else.

Will wait for somebody else to confirm the ID seeing that it may potentially be a state record.
