Yes, ant ant, commonly encountered in fall. But even so, this is late. Is Nov. 21 the date of the photo, or of the posting of a photo taken earlier? If the photo was taken earlier, please edit to put in that date. Thanks.

 
Yes, Nov. 21 is the date I took the pic.
The little ant was crawling along a rail of a bridge over the creek in our wooded park yesterday. Our weather has run sort of warm and cold this fall.
